As a self-employed Good Life Sorted Helper, we introduce you to older people in your local community who are looking for someone to help them keep on top of things at home and maintain their independence.
We'll match you with lovely customers and support you with queries and training opportunities. We'll also provide you with a web and mobile app to manage your schedule, invoicing and payments.
What does a Helper do?
Helpers provide a range of home help services as well as support and companionship. Helpers are not carers and there is no personal care involved.
Helpers offer a range of services:
- Home help
- Companionship
- Light cleaning
- Laundry
- Shopping and errands
- Transport and trips out
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Welfare checks
- Dog walking
- Post-hospital support
- Admin support

See what you could earn as a Helper
Good Life Sorted deducts commission of 20% + VAT and this is reflected in the calculation above.
This is a part-time, self-employed role and there are no guaranteed hours or minimum income.
85% of our Helpers are visiting customers for between 10 and 20 hours a week, and this can vary from time to time. You can choose the hours you want to work as long as they are the same each week as our customers are looking for regular and consistent visits from our Helpers.

We’re currently operating across Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Essex and Suffolk, and expanding rapidly.
